Mario Party 9: Hudson Edition

This is basically a summary of what I think Mario Party 9 would've been like had Hudson developed it instead of ND Cube, with many unique ideas and concepts that could've been used for the game.

Plot:
Mario devises the ultimate sports-themed party with help from Goombario and invites all of his friends to the Sport Emporium to have fun. But when Bowser and Koopa Kid return to cause mischief, our heroes must work together to stop them from ruining their Sportspalooza!

Gameplay:
The gameplay of this version is more or less similar to the first 8 titles in that everyone takes turns moving around the boards while trying to collect Stars and plays minigames in-between. The main gimmick this time are the Trading Cards which act similar to Capsules/Orbs/Candy from the previous games, letting you attack other characters. The boards are all based on various sports, such as Baseball Island, Football Fortress, and Hockey Mountain. Players will earn Medals after each game, which they can spend at the Emporium's Sports Shop to buy different collectibles like in earlier games.

Characters:
All of the playable characters from Mario Party 8 return and are playable from the start. In addition, there are two new characters who must be unlocked through completing Story Mode. The characters are:

*Toadette

Boards:
As mentioned earlier, all of the boards in the Hudsonized Mario Party 9 are based on various sports, as the game is set in the Sport Emporium. All of them utilize the same gimmicks as in Mario Party 8's boards, and one board must be unlocked before it can be played on. The boards are:
*Baseball Island
*Football Fortress
*Hockey Mountain
*Basketball Zone
*Skateboard City
*Bowser's Bowl-O-Rama (unlockable)
